Medical professionals as MP's accede to address current health crisis

Members of Parliament (MPs) who are Doctors and serve the purpose of both the ruling party and the opposition in the Parliament have come to terms about contributing to fixing the existing breakdown in Sri Lanka’s healthcare system, MP Professor Channa Jayasumana says.

Speaking in this regard, Prof. Jayasumana further mentioned they have conceded over several agreements during a special discussion held yesterday (18) with the relevant officials from the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA).
