Eighty thousand more Pfizer vaccines arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport today (23) morning as the government planned to step-up the COVID-19 vaccination programme this week, officials said.
Meanwhile three million doses of Sinopharm vaccines are due to arrive from China before the end of the month. One million of these doses will arrive on Tuesday.
By last Sunday (22) over 14 million Sinopharm vaccines have been administered in Sri Lanka.
