Murder suspect arrested

News

Police have arrested a 26-year-old suspect in connection with a clash between two groups that occurred on February 19, where one person was killed and another injured.

The clash had occurred in Helamada, Dewalagama. The suspect, a 26-year-old resident of Helamada, was taken into custody yesterday.

The suspect is due to be produced before the Kegalle Magistrate's Court today (21).
