Bandula Lal Bandarigoda will replace Manusha Nanayakkara as the SJB MP from the Galle District while the SJB said it will shortly name a MP to replace Harin Fernando in Parliament.
Nanayakkara and Fernando lost their parliamentary seats today after the Supreme Court upheld the decision by the SJB to expel the two MPs after they joined the Government of President Ranil Wickremesinghe in 2022.
While Manusha Nanayakkara was elected from the Galle District in the 2019 general election, Harin Fernando was nominated as a National List MP from the party.
