Only fully-vaccinated students allowed: UGC Chairman
Only fully vaccinated students will be permitted to continue university education, University Grants Commission (UGC) said.
Its Chairman Prof. Sampath Amaratunga said that universities are instructed to maintain a database of students who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
“Students will be requested to have the vaccination card with them in case it is requested,” he said.
He said Vice Chancellors have been given the authority to gradually commence academic activities in their respective universities starting from this month.
