KURUNEGALA DIVISIONAL CRIME INVESTIGATION UNIT: 24 year old arrested for attacking and burning a Minister's house on May 9. 

GOKARELLA: 26 year old beaten and stabbed to death in a dispute over a hit-and-run incident. 

WEERAKETIYA: Three suspects arrested for robbery of batteries attached to a telecommunication tower. 

KURUNEGALA: Two suspects arrested for robbery of Rs. 500,000 in a bus. 

WELLAMPITIYA: 53 year old arrested for possession of foreign produced live handbomb. 

JAFFNA: 32 year old killed in a car accident in Kandaramadam. 

URUBOKKA: 29 year old stabbed to death over a family dispute.
