Police today appointed a committee and several Sub Committees to study the 67,000 page Commission report on the Easter Sunday attacks, Police Spokesman SSP Buddhika Manatunga said today.
He said the main committee is headed by Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Asanka Karawita and other members are DIG CID, Director CID and Director Terrorism Investigation Division.
He said under them several sub committees to have been set up.
He said they would be looking into new points coming up and take legal action accordingly.
He said the Committees would be completing their work in a short time.
The Commission to investigate into the Easter Sunday attacks was chaired by Supreme Court judge Janak de Silva. The Commission was appointed by former President Maithripala Sirisena in 2019.
