Police have arrested the main suspect who robbed three business establishments in Athurugiriya, Thalangama and Piliyandala and removed electronic items including lap tops and mobile phones, Police said.
The suspect was arrested with his accomplice and some of the items stolen have been recovered.
Among the items recovered are seven laptops, 17 mobile phones, five tabs and other electronic items.
The main suspect was arrested in Hokandara with six grams of Heroin.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
