A tattoo on a man who got away with the purse of a young couple in Moratuwa helped the Police to track down the suspects.
Two men who pointed a broken glass at a couple on the beach side in the Moratuwa area had got away with the purse with Rs 10,500 cash.
The two men had first approached the couple who were on the beach at Egodauyana, Moratuwa and requested for Rs 100.
As the male had pulled out his purse and had given the hundred rupees the two men had snatched the purse and runaway.
However, the couple had noticed that one of the suspects had a tattoo of a snake and conveyed the information of the identification mark to the Police.
