Police release statement on security provided for ’Chabad Centres’

Police Headquarters states that 24-hour security has been provided to 'Chabad Centres' established for Israeli nationals to engage in their religious activities, rest and have meals.

These 'Chabad Centres' have been established in several police divisions and security for these centres is being provided by the respective police stations of those divisions based on relevant threat assessments, said a statement issued by the Police Media Division.

The statement added that police will take action to provide security for any foreign nationals in the country if their is a threat to their security, following a threat assessment.
