Showers or thundershowers are predicted for certain areas in Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces and in Galle and Matara Districts after 2:00 pm, the Department of Meteorology said.
A few showers are likely in Northern, Eastern and North-central Provinces besides Matale District.
Parts of Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern Provinces will have misty mornings.
