Postal voting for the 2024 Presidential Election will conclude today (12).
Government employees who were unable to cast their postal votes on September 4, 5, or 6 were given another chance to vote yesterday and today.
Eligible voters can visit their district election office or Divisional Secretariat where their workplace is located to cast their postal vote.
The Election Commission emphasized that after today, government employees who applied for postal voting will no longer be able to cast postal votes.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
