Postal Department employees will withdraw from overtime work from midnight today (15), over several unresolved demands.
The Co-convener of United Postal Trade Unions’ Front Chinthaka Bandara, said without filling the vacancies they have reduced overtime payments thereby prompting workers to mark their protest.
He said the Postal Administration is well aware that the trade union action will disrupt the mail service from tomorrow.
