President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has appointed members to the Colombo Port City Economic Commission.
The Commission will be headed by President’s Counsel Gamini Marapone.
The other members are;
S.R. Attygalle, Secretary to the Treasury, Dr Priyath Bandu Wickrema, secretary Ministry of Water Supply, Saliya Wickremasuriya, former Chairman Board of Investment, Kushan Kodithuwakku, Chairman and Managing Director Orel Corporation, Gerard George Ondaatjie, Managing Director Mercantile Investments and Finance PLC and Rohan De Silva , Chairman and Managing Director McLarens Group.

Former Chairman of SriLankan Airlines, Nishantha Wickramasinghe, arrested on allegation of corruption by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has been remanded until July 1 by the Colombo Magistrate court.
