President instructs to set a task force for agricultural modernization
A task force for agricultural modernization will be formulated combining Agriculture, Plantations, Irrigation and Mahaweli Development Ministries promptly in conjunction with government and private sector delegates, said President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The President’s Media Division (PMD) further reported that President Wickremesinghe has underlined that accompanied by assistance from nine provincial councils this alliance aims at making an effort to address matters connected to agriculture in an effective manner.
