A 44 year old man who forcibly entered Rupavahini Corporation in February last year was arrested by Cinnamon Gardens police yesterday
During the political unrest last year, a group of protestors stormed the SLRC premises threatening employees to suspend live/scheduled shows and forced to telecast an announcement by protestors.
The suspect, a resident of Kandy, is to be produced before Colombo Magistrate Court No.1 today. Police said previously five persons were arrested over the incident and legal action has been taken against them.

A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
Update: Five of the twelve passengers on board the bell 212 aircraft that crashed into the Maduru Oya today, have succumbed to their injuries, the SLAF said.
