Rains expected after Sunday
The Meterology Department issuing a special weather bulletin said that a change in prevailing dry weather condition over the island is expected from Sunday, February 23, onwards .
Accordingly,Showers are expected in the Northern, North-central, Eastern, Uva andv Central provinces and in the
Hambantota district.
The public has bee requested to be attentive to future forecasts issued by the Department of
Meteorology in this regard.
