The Cabinet has decided to appoint a retired High Court Judge to look into Welikada and Anuradhapura prison incidents involving State Minister Lohan Ratwatte.
Justice Minister Ali Sabry told Parliament today (22) that action against Ratwatte will be taken based on the report submitted by the retired Judge.
Minister Sabry replying to a question raised by Tamil National People's Front (TNPF) MP Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam said separate investigations are conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department and the Human Rights Commission as well.
