The government wants structural reforms in the plantations sector as part of the growth strategy of the agriculture business.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe addressing the Colombo International Tea Convention on Thursday at the Cinnamon Grand said the country needs a thriving agro business.
In this respect reforms on the plantations should start from the inside.
