The Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) has suspended three of their Members of Parliament for going against the party’s decision at the Budget reading.
“H.M.M. Harees, Faizal Cassim and Hafiz Nazeer Ahamed who defied the Party High Command decision in the vote on the second reading of the Budget have been suspended from the positions held in the party and they will be called upon to explain their conduct,” SLMC’s leader Rauff Hakeem said.
