Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Puttalam District MP Jagath Priyankara has met with President Ranil Wickremesinghe, and pledged his support for the upcoming Presidential Election.
Priyankara, who serves as the Puttalam District leader of the National Freedom Front (NFF), took office as a Member of Parliament on February 8, succeeding the late State Minister Sanath Nishantha.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
