A security guard attached to the private building complex in Sainthamaruthu, Ampara was found dead today morning, police said.
Following information received by the Kalmunai police, a forensic team visited the scene to conduct further investigations in order to determine the cause of death. According to police, the victim could be over 60 years old and is yet to be identified.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim was hired by the management of the building complex as a security guard recently and steps are taken to identify the victim.
