The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has given permission to continue the seven-and-a-half-hour power cut tomorrow (03) as well.
Accordingly, there will be a five-hour power cut between 8.00am and 6.00pm tomorrow while another two-and-a-half-hour power cut will be imposed between 6.00pm and 11.00pm.
PUSL’s Chairman Janaka Ratnayake said permission for power shedding was granted due severe fuel shortage for electricity generation.
