Seven persons suspected to have been illegally digging for treasure were arrested last night during a raid conducted by the Mahawa Police.
The raid was conducted following a tip-off and the arrested suspects are between the ages of 17 and 51. They are residents of Makulpotha, Mahawa, Ridibendiella and Balalla. Mahawa Police are investigating.
