Showers continue in several provinces
Light showers are expected to occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts today.
Showers or thundershowers in Central, Uva and Eastern provinces during the evening or night are to be expected.
The Meteorology Department requests the general public to take necessary precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
