A suspect wanted for a murder of a woman in Polpithigama has been arrested, Police said today (March 17).
On Wednesday, a man had murdered a 55 year old woman in Nikadalupotha area over a land dispute.
The Polpithigama Police were able to arrest the 50 year old suspect yesterday and the suspect would be produced to the Mahawa Magistrate Court today.
Polpithigama Police are conducting further investigations.
