Thihagoda SI remanded until November 4

News

The SI Police officer, who is suspected to have shot a boy in Thihagoda, Matara on Friday (October 28), has been remanded until November 4.

While the Police claim that the boy was “accidentally” shot, the arrested Policeman was produced to the Matara Magistrate Court on Saturday, where he was remanded until November 4.

The boy was admitted to the Karapitiya Hospital, having been shot in the head, where he is continuing to undergo treatment.
