Two MPs, Wasantha Bandara and Nalin Bandara have been removed from Parliament over their unruly behaviour today (23).
Both of them were removed after they intimidated Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapaksa. The Deputy Speaker was forced to adjourn Parliament for 10 minutes.
When the sessions resumed, Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena named the two MPs and both were removed from Parliament for the day.
Outside Parliament, the two MPs said they will continue to raise the questions they wanted to raise.
The issue took place during the oral question session.
