Two persons, including a former soldier who had robbed a T56 weapon and 90 rounds of ammunition from a guard post at the Panagoda Army camp have been arrested, Police said today.
The other person arrested is an Army Sergeant who helped to hide the solen weapon.
The weapon had been stolen from a soldier at a guard post on March 03.
The soldier arrested was a 30 year old person from Middeniya.
Both suspects will be produced in the Homagama Magistrate court today.
