Two killed as lorry collides with elephant
Two persons were killed and six others were injured when their lorry collided with a wild elephant in the Moragahakanda area today, Police said.
The elephant had suddenly crossed the path of the vehicle and as a result the lorry had toppled over.
The lorry driver had escaped from the scene after the accident.
