Water cuts commence from today in Colombo district
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) warned that water supply restrictions would be imposed from 8.00pm today in Colombo District from today onwards
They explained that the NWSDB would notify the times in advance via SMS in relevant areas.
As a result water cuts came into effect with the 24 hour water cut in Padukka, this move was taken to reduce stress on the Kalatuwawa and Labugama Reservoirs.
