Wedaarachchi Jnr released on bail
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Dilip Wedaarachchi's son Ravindu Wedaarachchi and daughter-in-law Nethmi Silva who were arrested for obstructing police from performing their duties were released on bail today.
The duo surrendered after a video of them involved in a heated argument with police officers at the Bedigama Interchange of the Southern Expressway last week went viral on local social media.
The couple was ordered to be released on bail by Walasmulla Magistrate.
