A 38-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder of her mother, the Kahawatta Police said today (December 16).
The Police began investigations on the murder of a 71-year-old woman, whose throat was slit on December 13 in Welladura.
Accordingly, the Police arrested the daughter of the victim, resident of Welewatta, Welladura this morning.
The Kahawatta Police are conducting investigations.
