A youth has been arrested near the Murunkan National School while in possession of cannabis, the Special Task Force (STF) said today (April 25).
Upon information received by the STF officials of the Settikulam Camp, they had conducted a raid near the Murunkan National School in Murunkan yesterday.
Subsequently, a 23 year old resident of Mannar who was transporting a parcel containing 2kg 74mg of Kerala Cannabis on a motorbike was arrested.
The suspect has been handed over to the Murunkan Police Station for further investigation.
