State Minister Ali Zahir Moulana has become the seventh parliamentarian to disclose his asset declaration to the public.
Mr. Moulana, a representative of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) did so by handing over his asset declaration to Transparency International Sri Lanka.
Last month, five parliamentarians undertook the initiative to disclose their asset declarations to the public. The MPs included Tharaka Balasuriya, Vasudeva Nanayakkara, M.A. Sumandiran, Vidura Wickramanayake, and State Minister Eran Wickremaratne.
Earlier this month, State Minister Ranjan Ramanayake too followed suit by disclosing his assets to the public.
