Court Registrar in Welimada arrested for Bribery

The Registrar for Welimada District and Magistrate Court was arrested today for soliciting a bribe of Rs 500,000.

He had demanded the bribe to assist in a land partition case.

He collected the bribe at a restaurant near the Court complex.
