The Chairman of the All Ceylon Health service Union was quoted by local media today as saying that its members commenced work at 6.30 a.m. on Thursday. Chairman of the union, Samantha Korelarachchi said that the two-day strike action which was launched by the union has concluded. A decision on this issue was reached on Wednesday following discussions with representatives of the trade union and the Acting Secretary to the Ministry of Health.
