Ambalantota post offices working despite strike

Though a continuous island-wide postal strike is now in effect, employees at the Ambalantota Post Office are continuing to work as usual. 

Nine sub post offices that come under the Ambalantota Main Post Office are also functioning as normal. 

The countrywide strike launched by the United Postal Trade Union Front was launched over several demands, including the ratification of a recruitment scheme and the protection of the rights of deputy post masters.
