A 48 year old cancer patient has become the latest victim to COVID-19 today increasing the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the country to 41, the Government Information Department said.
The victim from Ragama died at home and a postmortem examination has revealed that he had contracted the virus. Today alone, four COVID-19 deaths were reported.
