The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has revised the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) imposed on cement bags with effect from December 27.
Accordingly, a 50 kilogram bag of cement manufactured in Sri Lanka has been priced at Rs 1,005.
The price of cement imported in bulk and packetted in Sri Lanka has been fixed at Rs 950 per 50 kilogram. Cement imported in packetted form has been priced at Rs 930.
