The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has turned down a request by gas companies suggesting an increase in gas prices.
Gas companies had requested the CAA to increase the price of a 12.5 kilogram domestic gas cylinder by Rs 360.
According to gas companies, the request was made since the prices of gas are revised twice a month.
