The much awaited Cabinet reshuffle is to take place tomorrow at Presidential Secretariat and all ministers are informed to be present by 9.30 am, senior government Ministers confirmed today. This would be the second cabinet reshuffle effected by Good Governance government since it took office in 2015.
The cabinet reshuffle, which scheduled to take place tomorrow came in the wake of an one -on-one meeting held between President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on Friday evening where two parties agreed on finalizing ministerial posts.
Earlier 16 Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) parliamentarians, among them six are Ministers resigned from their ministerial portfolios and informed the President that they can't work with United National Party (UNP) in the National Government.
