News

Chairman of the Ceylon Teachers Union (CTU), Joseph Stalin has said that three examination centres in Ampara faced a delay in commencing today's G.C.E Ordinary Level examination paper.

Mr. Stalin told Times Online that today's examination which was scheduled to take place from 8 am to 10 am had commenced at 10 :15 am.

He added that the delay was caused due to the negligence of officials at the co-ordinating centre who had sent the question papers to Monaragala.

The Chairman of the CTU, while lamenting that the students were mentally affected due to this move urged that necessary action be taken against the individuals involved in this regard.
