The Colombo Fort Magistrate ordered the CID to arrest Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne for harbouring Lt. Cdr Prasad Hettiarachchi.
Lt. Commander Chandana Prasad Hettiarachchi who was arrested over the disappearance of 11 youths was further remanded till November 9.
Further, the Magistrate instructed the CID to arrest the Chief of Defence of Staff before court next convenes on November 9.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
