Three witnesses in the case against former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa have been granted permission to travel overseas.
The witnesses were granted permission by the three member judge bench of the Special High Court when the case was taken up today (Jan 25).
The trial-at-bar comprising Justices Sampath Abeykoon, Sampath Wijeratne, and Champa Janaki Jayaratne also announced that the next hearing would take place on January 30.
The case is pertaining to the misuse of state funds amounting upto Rs 30 million in the construction of the D.A Rajapaksa memorial museum.
