Dry weather to continue
The Department of Meteorology said in today's weather forecast that dry weather with colder nights and mornings can be expected over most parts of the island. Ground frost can be expected at some places in the Nuwara-Eliya district, in the early hours of the morning.
Mainly fair weather will prevail over most parts of the island. Misty conditions can be expected at some places of the island during the morning particularly in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Central provinces.

SLAF Bell 212 crashes into Maduru Oya
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
