Five-member Commission on Easter Sunday attacks calls for submissions from the public

The newly appointed Presidential Commission to probe the Easter Sunday attacks will accept submissions from the general public regarding complaints or information which relates to the inquiry until October 14, Commission Secretary P Herath said.

Appeal Court judge Janak de Silva heads the commission which was appointed last month.

The other members include :

• Appeal Court judge Nissanka Bandula Karunarathna
• Retired Appeal Court judge Nihal Sunil Rajapaksa
• Retired High Court judge Bandula Kumara Atapattu.
• Retired Ministry Secretary W.M.M. Adikari 
• Retired Ministry Secretary Chandrani Senaratne 

The commission is required to submit an interim report in three months, and the final report within six months.
