Four new Ambassadors and one High Commissioner presented their credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat today, President Secretariat said.
Mr Amir Muharemi, Ambassador of Croatia, Mr Tareq Mubarak Bin Daineh, Ambassador of Bahrain, Mr Szilveszter Bus, Ambassador of Hungary, Mr Jean-Marin Schuh, Ambassador of France, and Mr James Dauris, High Commissioner for the United Kingdom presented their credentials to the president.
The French Ambassador and the High Commissioner for the United Kingdom are based in Colombo, the other three envoys are concurrently accredited to Sri Lanka with residence in New Delhi.
Prime Minister Mr Ranil Wickremesinghe and Foreign Minister, Mr Mangala Samaraweera also participated in the event.
