A group of SLFPers are expected to vote in favour of the annual budget for 2019 when it is put forward before Parliament on March 05, Minister Rajitha Senaratne said.
Minister Senaratne made these remarks while addressing an event in Bandaragama divisional secretariat.
In addition, he said that discussions are currently underway with Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera to issue a gazette notification in order to increase the tax imposed on sugar used in drinks.
