Two Indians were arrested by the Police Narcotics Bureau today at the Bandaranaike International Airport for allegedly attempting to smuggle 2.4 kilograms of heroin into the country.
The stock of heroin which is believed to be worth over Rs 24 million was hidden inside a travelling bag according to the Police Narcotics Bureau.
The suspects have been identified as a couple aged 35 and 29.
